I take a look at Swiss+Tech’s budget multi-tool. The design is surprisingly good. Although the tool set is limited, it should be good enough for many users. It is actually a copy of the Gerber Suspension NXT. The question is would you buy this or the Suspension NXT for just a little bit more?
I take a look at the latest iteration of Swiss+Tech’s mid-sized multi-tool. The tool set is solid but in the process, it lost its distinctiveness and identity and it’s now pretty much just a generic Leatherman Wave copy. It’s good, yes, but so are the others, the same tool just with different brands slapped on.
I take a look at the Daicamping DL7 19-In-1 Titanium Multi-Took. It seems “inspired” by the Leatherman Charge TTi and the Leatherman Free series.
New year, new multi-tool: I take a look at the SHALL 18-In-1. It’s a Leatherman Wave clone but looks like a cross between the Wave and the Leatherman Free series.
I’ve been finding my Leatherman Wave+ to be a bit chunky and heavy in the pocket. After seeing a lot of good reviews about it, I finally checked out the SOG PowerPint. And it is as good as the reviews said!
