The NexTool Knight K30 is a great concept for a multi-function knife: It has a big one-hand opening knife blade with thumb stud and a crossbar lock, features normally found in dedicated knives. But in addition, it has a variety of tools such as a bottle opener, bit driver, file, scissors, awl, and even a pair of tweezers. However, the scissors are a bit of a letdown. They work well otherwise but bind up on pliable material such as strings and nylon straps. At first, I thought it was only my particular unit but I saw Hvac Budget encountered the same problem so it seems it’s a design flaw. But other than that, I think it’s a pretty good EDC item.
